Gary Trent Jr is now a Toronto Raptor after being dealt during this past week’s trade deadline. Norman Powell was sent to Portland for Trent & Rodney Hood, as the two teams will meet tonight. Trent recently talked about his last day with Portland and the goodbyes that came with it.

“I actually saw them that morning in shootaround, same old conversation that we always have, just joking around and going through film. After that I got the text, I was taking a nap, everybody was taking their pregame nap. When everybody heard the news they texted one another, Dame texted me, all my teammates texted me. I called Anfernee, the other rookie that I came into Portland with. That’s really just about it, farewells and goodbyes, get to it, stay on your grind.”
