After the Los Angeles Lakers lost their second game in a row by getting defeated by the Phoenix Suns, head coach Frank Vogel was asked about who should lead the team in the absence of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

“We want our guys to lead from every chair in the room,” Vogel said. “That’s what we’re gonna look like. Obviously, Dennis Schroder is gonna be the head of the snake with the ball in his hands the most dictating some of the action.

But we’ve got a lot of veteran guys on this team that can lead. We encourage our guys to lead from every chair in the room.”

Newcomers Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder were the top scorers for the Lakers with 23 and 22 points respectively in a loss to the Suns, followed by Talen Horton-Tucker who had 17 points.
