Blake Griffin is bound to make his debut with the Brooklyn Nets soon, according to head coach Steve Nash. However, he’s not expected to be available for the next few games.
The Nets announced the signing of Griffin on Monday, March 8. He did not make his debut against Boston Friday as he’s trying to get back in shape.
Griffin did not play for three weeks, since the Pistons decided to sideline the veteran forward until resolving his future either by trade or by releasing him.
Steve Nash declared Griffin could play his first game for the Nets in ‘a week or two’ as the All-Star is working towards his return, per Malika Andrews.
