The Oklahoma City Thunder are trading guard Hamidou Diallo to the Detroit Pistons for forward Svi Mykhailiuk and a 2027 second-round pick, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 2027 pick was acquired by the Pistons via the Houston Rockets in the Christian Wood sign-and-trade.

Lu Dort’s emergence made Diallo expendable and the Thunder get to add another draft pick to their massive stockpile of future picks, notes Wojnarowski.

Diallo, 22, has been out since Feb. 26 with a groin injury.

He will be a restricted free agent this offseason and the Pistons reportedly view him as a key rotation player going forward.

In 32 games, Diallo is averaging 11.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steal per game.

Mykhailiuk, 23, will be a restricted free agent this summer like Diallo.

In 36 games, Mykhailiuk is averaging 6.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
