Klay Thompson has shown his appreciation for Golden State Warriors teammate Steph Curry dedicating Sunday night’s 3-Point Contest win to him. Curry was back in the spotlight on All-Star Weekend this year, winning said contest on his last shot to beat out Mike Conley of the Utah Jazz.

He could just as easily have won the All-Star MVP on the back of a stellar performance that saw Team LeBron outperform Team Durant in the night’s main event. Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the Kobe Bryant MVP after shooting a perfect 16-16 but Curry’s performance was by far the more spectacular as he and Damian Lillard showed off their incredible range with some unbelievable jumpers. Either man could have easily won the accolade.

Thompson, meanwhile, took to Instagram to thank Curry for the gesture, also offering praise for his partner in crime bringing the trophy back to the Bay Area.

Thompson won the 3-Point contest in 2016 and is pleased to know the trophy is coming back home.
