Giannis Antetokounmpo became the first international player to win the NBA All-Star Game MVP, the trophy named after the late Kobe Bryant. According to the Greek star, it will be a great feeling to have a trophy named after the Los Angeles Lakers legend in his house.
“Having an award named after Kobe Bryant in my house is a great feeling…I know he would be happy,” the Milwaukee Bucks forward said, per Rachel Nichols.
The Greek Freak led Team LeBron to a win over Team Durant with game-high 35 points in 19 minutes of play. Team LeBron won the All-Star Game by 20 points (170-150).
