Real Madrid were forced to their first defeat of the season in ACB while Barcelona faced offensive defecit and defeat in Sevilla. Read full review below:

Valencia- Saski Baskonia 85-70

A dominant second period, 30-10 partial score, gave Valencia the win against Baskonia that had a disappointing offensive game. Romain Sato was the leader offensively with 19 points and Loncar followed up close with 16 while Bertans had 16 and alongside Shengelia tried to save the day but that was not enough.

Cajasol Sevilla- Barcelona 85-74

Barcelona had a tough time on the road against Sevilla and recorded their second defeat this season in ACB. The home side was in control of the game and with good offensive choices were able to score continuously achieving to beat “Blaugrana” with impressive Hernangomez being the MVP (29 points and 13 rebounds) the same time that Huertas led Barcelona with 17 points.

CB Canarias- Manresa 66-62

Canarias emerged winners after a very tight game with both teams emphasizing on their defensive duties. It is almost impossible to with an away game with 36% in field goals and Manresa was not able to execute their offensive plays successfully allowing Canarias to hold on to their 19-9 lead they built at the end of the 1st quarter. Sekulic had 17 for the winners and on the other side White had 19.

Estudiantes- Real Madrid 89-84

Estudiantes was better and despite their bad shooting totals behind the arc achieved to turn things around at the second half and dominate Real Madrid that however stayed on top of the League Table exploiting Barcelona’s defeat. Nacho Martin with 19 points and 9 rebounds was on top of his game, with Reyes being the top scorer with 21 points.

Fuenlabrada- Andorra 88-65

Fuenlabrada was impressive during the 2nd and 3rd period, managing to get an important win to help them reduce the point difference and come closer to Andorra and outside the relegation zone, also to end their 6-game lose streak. Panko had 30 points for the home side and was the top scorer and on the other side Bogris scored 16p.

Zaragoza- Obradoiro 82-74

Cobraho’s heroics (24 points, 50% 2p, 40% 3p.) were not enough for Obradoiro that fell short to Zaragoza team that used their defense to grab their 6th win of the season and climb 7th in the League Table.  The home side got to half time in front 45-27 and achieved to hold back their opponents when they tried to steal the win at the end. For the winners that shared the rock offensively, Katic was the top scorer with 15 points.

Badalona- Gran Canaria 81-79

Badalona managed to edge Gran Canaria in a nail-biting game where the two teams were close throughout the game but Badalona emerged victorious  despite their opponent’s huge effort. Miralles had 14 for the home side and Oliver scored 19 for the visitors.

San Sebastian- Bilbao 80-67

Bilbao was expected to take the win on the road but not only they failed to do so, but they got fell short to San Sebastian that appeared very concentrated especially during the first half to secure the big win. Dean scored 19 for the home team and Colom was the top scorer for the visitors with 16 points.

Murcia- Unicaja Malaga 86-96

Great offensive game for Unicaja to grab the win away from home against Murcia and reach Real Madrid on top of the League with 19 points. The good start on both halves allowed the visitors to get on top of Murcia that had Antelo in good shape (17p.) but Toolson’s 21 points were enough to make the difference for the away team and reach their 4th win in-a-row in ACB.
