Will Barton is expected to miss the Nuggets vs. Lakers game due to personal reasons, the team announced earlier. Denver’s swingman is added to PJ Dozier and Garry Harris, who are out for Sunday’s contest.
Barton averages 11.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists shooting 40 percent from the three-point range. Michael Porter Jr. is expected to get playing time in the wing with Harris out.
At the top of that, Jamal Murray is still questionable for Sunday’s Western Conference prime time matchup with an left ankle sprain.
RJ Hampton could also receive increased minutes in today’s contest with Barton, Harris out, while the same goes for Monte Morris in two-guards lineups.
