LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are playing games every couple of days. The schedule is tight and there is little time for the team to recover.

James, who is 36, recently said he never gets tired. After the Lakers defeated the Thunder in overtime, which was the second game in a row for the defending NBA champions that needed an overtime, LeBron was asked if he and the team are tired.

Dan Woike, who asked the question, noted that the four-time NBA champion took a small nap on the scorers table after game and wondered if that was an indication of him being tired.

“I can sleep right now because the game is over. I’m decompressing now,” James responded. “Sh*t, if we have more time to play, I’m ready to go. I can play right now, if I need to go. All I need is warm up. I can go to the weight room, get warmed up and I can go right now.

“At this point it’s 10:46, I’m gonna do my usual thing. I’m gonna go home, I’m gonna eat and I’m gonna drink some win and I’m gonna go to sleep. But that’s because my body is shut down. I took a cold shower, my body is starting to shut down. I’m ready to go home and get into bed at some point. I can’t speak for the team. I don’t know if the team is tired. But I’ll be ready to go when we play again Wednesday. I’ll be ready to go.”
