The Los Angeles Lakers will be without one of their superstars, Anthony Davis, who is set to miss the game, due to a right Achilles tendinosis. The injury has been nagging the 27-year-old forward for some time.
Until now, Davis was listed as questionable. In his most recent double-overtime outing against the Detroit Pistons, the 2020 NBA champion played 45 minutes and scored 30 points. This season, he is averaging 22.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
The Lakers (18-6) enter the game as the second best team in the Western Conference, while the Thunder (10-12) are third from the bottom.
