Free agent forward-center Noah Vonleh is expected to sign a deal with the Brooklyn Nets, according to Shams Charania.

Vonleh will provide frontcourt depth to a team that lost Jarrett Allen in the trade to acquire James Harden.

The Nets will have a full 15-man roster once the Vonleh signing is official, as they also recently signed Norvel Pelle and Iman Shumpert.

Vonleh had a lot of interest from teams for a “designated veteran” G League role, but waited on the call from an NBA team, notes Blake Murphy of The Athletic.

The 25-year-old was waived by the Chicago Bulls back in December and he hoped to get another NBA opportunity which has now come.

Vonleh has played for six teams during his six-year NBA career and averaged 3.7 points and 3.4 rebounds in 36 games last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets.
