The Detroit Pistons dominated the Knicks 118-80 to end New York’s eight-game winning streak on Friday night.

Pistons two-way player Dannis Jenkins dropped 18 points in his last game, after playing his 42nd game of the season, as he is no longer eligible for NBA games under his two-way contract.

Detroit must convert his deal to a full NBA contract to keep him. He averaged 8.2 points and 3.3 assists in 16.8 minutes as a backup guard.

Pistons forward Tobias Harris and Isaiah Stewart each added 15 points.

Jalen Duren (knee) missed the game for the Pistons, while Karl-Anthony Towns (eye)  and OG Anunoby (toe) for the Knicks.

The Pistons have won five straight regular-season games against the Knicks, but lost to the Knicks in six games in the first round of last season’s playoffs.

On the other hand, Mikal Bridges scored 19 points, while Jalen Brunson finished with a cold 12 points on 4-for-20 shooting, including 0 of 8 from three-point range.

New York’s 80 points were a season low, beating the 90 they scored in a 31-point loss to Detroit on Jan.5

The Knicks had time to start a burst in the third quarter, but Brunson went 2-for-7, scoring only 18 points, while Jenkins and Harris each had 7 points, giving Detroit an edge, 90-60.

Detroit will play at Charlotte on Monday night, while the Knicks will play at Boston on Sunday.
