The Sacramento Kings are in a roll in the last six games with rookie Tyrese Haliburton being among the reasons of the team’s rise, especially in the last couple of games.

The rookie of Sacramento had a career-night scoring 21 points against the Boston Celtics. Haliburton made 55.6 percent of his threes following his teammate D’Aaron Fox, who dropped 26 to propel his team to the victory.

After the game, Haliburton, who won the Rookie of the Month accolade for January, talked about his performance against Boston coming after winning the award.

“I’m just trying to make a play,” Haliburton said on his play against the Celtics. “That’s got to be who I am — is coming out and just bringing energy, making plays.”

“I went to sleep like normal, woke up and got ready to hoop, I don’t really pay attention to that stuff,” Haliburton said on the award. “It’s cool. My mom called me, teammates congratulated me, but I just care about winning games.”
