Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love has begun individual basketball activities, as he continues to recover from a right calf strain, the team announced.

Love underwent a series of treatment and rehabilitation programs to heal the strained calf he reaggravated on Dec. 27 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

“His return to full team participation will be reassessed daily through accompanying rehabilitation and treatment activities. His return to play status will be updated as appropriate,” according to the team.

The 32-year-old originally had a three-to-four week timetable, but this is currently the fifth week that he is out.

The Cavaliers, who are 10-11, did not provide an exact timetable for when Love might return to game action, but it’s expected that he could be back sometime around mid-February.
