One of the highlights of the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers was LeBron James getting a flagrant foul for shoving Joel Embiid. The incident occurred while the Cameroonian center attempted to dunk over James who pushed him with both hands. Embiid dropped heavily on the floor, though he avoided an injury.

After the game, Embiid called LeBron’s action ‘very dangerous’ and guaranteed he would have been ejected for doing something like that, alluding to the fact that the officials favored the Lakers superstar on this occasion.

The foul surprised sports analyst Skip Bayless as it was LeBron’s first flagrant foul since 2014. He speculated on UNDISPUTED that, by shoving Embiid, James wanted to make a point that he would not let others dunk on him.

“LeBron shocked me by going completely uncharacteristically out of control in two-hand shoving Joel Embiid. That’s his first flagrant since 2014. LeBron is a nice man, and that was shockingly out of character. That’s a cheap shot,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED.
