The Los Angeles Lakers were handed their first road loss of the season by the Philadelphia 76ers. Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe shared his thoughts on what were the reasons that led the Lakers to lose the game.

According to him, the defending NBA champions were ‘lethargic’ and could not contain Joel Embiid who finished the game with 28 points. On the other hand, Sharpe saw the Lakers get serious and erase the Sixers’ lead later in the game. All in all, he liked what he saw from Los Angeles.

“I thought they were a little lethargic last night and they had a tough time with Joel Embiid. But you see what the Lakers can be when they say: ‘We finna lock this thing down.’ I like the fight that I saw,” Sharpe said on UNDISPUTED.

Sharpe also thought that LeBron James should have taken the game on himself instead of trying to get his teammates involved in the third quarter.
