DeMarcus Cousins is starting to look more and more like the version of himself prior to devastating injuries. The 30-year-old center had 19 points and 11 rebounds in a win against the Washington Wizards. Prior to that, he had a season-high 28 points and 17 rebounds versus the Dallas Mavericks.

Former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins is impressed with what he sees from Cousins this season. “The Rockets are playing some inspiring basketball and Big Cousins have turned back the hands of time got Damn it. That’s 3 Ws in a row for HTown and they have been doing it in great fashion, on the other hand the Wizards have some issues that they need to address ASAP!” he tweeted.

This season, Boogie is averaging 8.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. He is still some way off from his career average of 21 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game but is getting closer.
