Anthony Davis has been struggling recently by his own standards. The 27-year-old superstar forward admitted that he ‘sucks’ after going below 20 points for five straight games. He was able to bounce back versus the Chicago Bulls as he dropped 37 points.
After the game, the Los Angeles Lakers co-superstar LeBron James talked about Davis self-accountability and him helping AD get back on track.
“Sometimes you allow a guy to kind of go through it and figure it themselves. But at the same time let them know that we are here for thems,” James said.
“Me as a leader of the squad, me as his brother let him know whatever he needs from me, I can do it. It started with us getting him the ball early and often tonight. And he’s right back on track,” he added.
