Wesley Matthews opened up about his role with the Los Angeles Lakers this season, which is different from the one he used to have.

Matthews is coming off the bench for the Lakers as a ‘3 and D’ player and he calls that a ‘learning process’.

“It’s mental, it’s physical, and it’s going to be an ongoing adjustment. That’s what it is right now. I’m here to do whatever this team needs, in whatever capacity, whatever role, I’m ready for whatever.

It’s just a learning process, and it’s always easier to learn when you win,” Matthews noted, via Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll.

Matthews is averaging 6.1 points, on 46/1 shooting and 41% from beyond the arc, for the Lakers this season.
