The Los Angeles Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard had to wear a face mask on his return to action after getting hit in the face by Serge Ibaka’s elbow. Despite inconvenience of the mask, the two-time NBA champion led his team with 28 points, three rebounds and seven assists. The Clippers improved to 4-1 by taking down the Portland Trail Blazers 128-105.
Kawhi was seemingly in a good mood after the game as he joked about his teammates calling him “Leatherface” and Ibaka being on a trade block.
“They started calling me “Leatherface” and stuff. Serge can’t talk too much. We got him on the trading block right now. Whoever wants him, let us know. We’re trying to trade Serge,” Leonard said.
