Stephen Curry will be an important part of the Golden State Warriors history, when it’s all said and done. For now, the Warriors’ superstar is trying to get used to the new reality away from NBA title contention.

In the process, after Golden State’s defeat at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks, Curry reached another milestone becoming the second all-time scorer in franchise’s history.

The Splash Brother surpassed another GSW’s legend Rick Barry trailing only to Wilt Chamberlain on the Warriors all-time scoring list.

Amassing a grand total of 16,439 points in his 12 seasons as the franchise’s superstar, Curry is more than 1,000 points away from Chamberlain’s 17,783 points.

After being limited to five games last season, Curry will try to lead the Warriors back to the playoffs, as Golden State ended up with the worst record of the league last season.

At the start of the 2020/21 campaign, the Warriors had a long way to achieve their goal, after starting with back-to-back blowout losses against the Nets and the Bucks.
