Dennis Schroder wants the Los Angeles Lakers to play faster on the offensive end of the floor.

Schroder told his teammate Anthony Davis that the team should ‘run more’ offensively.

“Dennis pushed the pace. He wants to run. He said after the game, ‘Man, we’ve got to run more. I want to run.’ With him being able to get to the paint, bringing that to our team and defensively picking up 94 feet,” Davis said about Schroder, via Lakers Nation.

Schroder flirted with the triple-double in the season opener loss to the Clippers (116-109), with 14 points (5/15 shooting), 12 rebounds and eight assists.

Schroder and the Lakers now have their sights set on the clash with the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day.
