Nikola Jokic is an exceptional player with his ability to pass as a big man. The Los Angeles Lakers great and Hall of Famer Jerry West says the Serbian center’s thinking on the court is that like some of the NBA’s best.

“He thinks like Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Chris Paul, LeBron James and he’s seven feet tall,” West told Dave Wohl on Dave’s Front Office podcast. “You watch him and he shoots shots and you say ‘Oh my goodness this has no chance.’ But, David, the key to him is he has incredible hands.

“If you look at a rebound 4-5 guys are there and he just reaches for a rebound He can be right in the middle of eight hands and somehow that ball comes out in his hands. He’s just remarkable, fun to watch. When he’s playing, it looks like he’s playing in hammock. He looks so relaxed,” the Logo man said.

Jokic, 25, was a second round draft pick in 2014. Since then, he has been an All-Star twice and is regarded as one of the best big man in the league.

Last season, The Joker averaged 19.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and 7 assists per game. He upped his stats to 24.4 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game during 19 playoff games.
