The Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry is excited about the future of the team’s rookie James Wiseman. According to Curry, the 19-year-old center has an “extremely high ceiling”.
The three-time NBA champion is also impressed with Wiseman’s energy in practice. “Extremely high ceiling. Excited for him to get some reps and be in a game-like situation. His energy (in practice) was crazy. It was like letting a puppy out the cage,” Curry said per Anthony Slater.
Wiseman was drafted at number two by the Dubs in this year’s NBA Draft. He has signed a four-year deal with Golden State and is set to earn $8.73 million in his rookie season.
The former Memphis star is yet to make his preseason debut for the Warriors. He has only recently joined team practices as he had tested positive for COVID-19 previously.
