The Miami Heat couldn’t handle Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans, as the sophomore star contributed largely to his team’s first preseason win.

Williamson put up 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds going to the free-throw line constantly by aggressively attacking the paint. He shot 11 free throws to make ten of them. He was eight-from-thirteen from the field in 33 minutes of action.

In his first game for the 2020/21 campaign, the Pelicans seem to be willing to use Williamson without any minutes restriction. Brandon Ingram was also excellent for Stan Van Gundy’s team with 22 points, six rebounds, and six assists.

New Orleans is set to face the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday for the last preseason game before the start of the regular season. 2020/21 campaign is set to begin on December 22.
