Daryl Morey once again expressed his confidence in the superstar duo of the Philadelphia 76ers, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.
During an AMA on Instagram, Morey, the new president of basketball operations of the Sixers, said he believes Embiid and Simmons can win the NBA MVP award this season, via Sixers Wire.
Morey is optimistic Embiid and Simmons can help the Sixers enter the title race this season. If that does not happen, though, he may consider trading one of the two in the 2021 offseason.
Embiid, Simmons and the Sixers will play the Washington Wizards in their season opener on December 23.
