James Harden did not show up for his scheduled individual workout after missing the Houston Rockets’ practice session on Sunday, per ESPN’s Tim McMahon.

Head coach Stephen Silas told reporters the former MVP wasn’t able to train with the team due to COVID-19 protocols but would work out on his own in the evening. According to McMahon, he’s skipped that too.

New teammate John Wall told the media he fully expects Harden to remain with the Western Conference side, however, Silas could not speak to the player’s commitment when quizzed and Rockets fans could be forgiven for feeling uneasy after Sunday’s developments.
