New Houston Rockets head coach Stephen Silas wasn’t able to speak to James Harden’s commitment to the team after the star missed practice on Sunday.

COVID-19 protocols left Harden unable to participate in training with his teammates but the former MVP is expected to have an individual workout in the evening. John Wall, who recently joined the Rockets via trade, says he fully expects Harden to stay in Houston. Silas, though, deferred to the man himself when questioned by reporters.

“That’s a question you’re going to have to ask him when he gets here,” the coach said, per ESPN’s Tim McMahon.

Harden averaged 34.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game for the Rockets last season. He is rumored to have his heart set on a reunion with former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Kevin Durant in Brooklyn.
