Giannis might have left Greece to fly back to Milwaukee but before that, he had an interesting interview with Cosmote TV. Among other things, Giannis recognized LeBron as the best player in the NBA right now, while he invited LeBron, KD and AD to Milwaukee.
“This is a statement that I have never made before. If LeBron and Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis came to Milwaukee I would be happy. I am not interested if I am the top, second or third name, ok? I just want to win.”
Giannis also talked about LeBron James and how competitive King James is: “LeBron is the best player in the world right now, I am saying it. He is my role model not only as a basketball player. You’ve never heard something bad for him, he is out doing his job. He’s just very competitive.”
As for the way in which the Milwaukee Bucks should form this year’s roster:
“The Bucks asked for my opinion on this year’s roster. I wanna focus on playing basketball, on how to become a better player. If LeBron, AD or Durant would join me in Milwaukee, I would be fine.”
The back-to-back MVP of the NBA also referred to the way he would like to end his career: “I don’t care how much money I’ll make or how many MVP awards I’ll take. I will be playing basketball and end my career the way I started it.”
