Dennis Schroder made an interesting statement regarding his role with the Los Angeles Lakers next season.
Schroder said he wants to be a starter and not come off the bench, like he did during his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
“I did this off the bench stuff already for two years with OKC. I think I will try to move forward, and I think with AD and LeBron, I can be helpful as a starter at the PG position so that LeBron don’t have so much stuff in his mind,” Schroder told reporters, via Christian Rivas of Silver Screen and Roll.
Schroder also said it’s an honor for him to play for the Lakers and the defending champions have brought him in in order to help the repeat.
