The Los Angeles Lakers are in pursuit of one more big man, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

As Stein reports, the Lakers want to add a center to their roster, after Dwight Howard’s decision to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The names of Serge Ibaka and Marc Hasol have already emerged as top candidates, with both players being free agents.

However, the Lakers don’t have enough cap space in order to make lucrative offers, after signing Dennis Schroder, Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Lakers GM and president of basketball operations Rob Pelinka keeps his options open and the Lakers are expected to make their move in the coming days.
