Free agent forward Jae Crowder has agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with the Phoenix Suns, according to Shams Charania.

Crowder reportedly looked for a new deal with the Heat, but was seeking a guaranteed second year, which the Heat wasn’t comfortable offering, notes Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.

The 30-year-old is another key addition to a Suns team that has aspirations of being a contender in the Western Conference this upcoming season.

Crowder averaged 10.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in 65 regular season games and then 12.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in 21 playoff games.
