The Portland Trail Blazers and the Chicago Bulls are the newest teams that appear to be interested in Phoenix Suns forward Jae Crowder.

According to Matt Moore of Action Network, both teams have joined the sweepstakes with the Milwaukee Bucks, who have been there ever since as a consistent hunter of Crowder’s service, via ClutchPoints:

“The Suns effectively have tiers of options for the trade deadline and Crowder. While it’s true that teams aren’t beating down the door to add the forward who wants a significant extension, hence his effective holdout this season, that doesn’t mean there aren’t interested teams.

“The Bucks have already been reported here and elsewhere as the team that was close to acquiring Crowder weeks ago before the third team in the deal, Houston, balked at their returning draft compensation. But the Bulls and Blazers are two other teams interested in Crowder.”

Portland and Chicago are two noticeable teams that are in need of a key unit at the frontcourt, and potentially having Crowder can provide them with a needed piece to contend for a postseason spot.

Crowder remains away from the Suns’ team activities as he is patiently waiting for his trade request to materialize ahead of the February trade deadline.
