Free agent center Mason Plumlee has agreed to a three-year, $25 million deal with the Detroit Pistons, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Plumlee, 30, averaged 7.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for the Denver Nuggets last season.

He served as Nikola Jokic’s primary backup for the last three-plus seasons and occasionally, the two were on the court at the same time.

With the signing of Plumlee, this could mean that Pistons’ Christian Wood will be signing elsewhere in free agency.
