Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler is no longer on the market for shoe companies. The 31-year-old famously severed ties with the Jordan Brand back in January but wore Jordans for the rest of the season while reportedly negotiating with a number of companies.

This week, it was reported that Butler had followed in the footsteps of Dwyane Wade, joining his friend and mentor as a representative for Li-Ning. According to ESPN’s Nick DePaula, Butler signed a multi-year deal with the Chinese company.

The details of the partnership haven’t been officially announced but it’s likely that we see Jimmy Buckets wearing Li-Nings when the new NBA season tips off next month.

Butler, who was back in the gym the day after losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals, was initially sponsored by adidas before moving to Jordan in 2014. Wade is likely to have played a role in the Heat forward’s decision to sign with Li-Ning.

Meanwhile, the Heat star has been in the news after getting spotted on a date with with Selena Gomez.
