The Golden State Warriors have discussed a trade that would send the No. 2 pick to the Chicago Bulls for the No. 4 pick and Wendell Carter Jr., according to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer.

The Warriors are reportedly “weighing” whether to accept the trade.

If the Bulls move up, it’s expected that they will pick James Wiseman, but if they don’t trade up, it’s expected that they will pick either Deni Avdija or Florida State’s Patrick Williams, O’Conner notes.

If the Warriors move down, it’s unclear who they will target, but they have become “infatuated” with Avdija, as they view him as a player who could develop into a “Danilo Gallinari type.”

If they ultimately don’t trade down, it’s expected that they will pick Wiseman, as he could fill their need for a frontcourt player.

Several options are in play as the draft draws closer.
