Bradley Beal will not leave the Washington Wizards, according to the GM of the team Tommy Sheppard.
Sheppard made it clear once again that the team has no plans to part ways or trade Beal.
“We’re building this team around Bradley Beal. He’s a tremendous human being. He’s a tremendous player. He’s exactly what we want to have here with the Washington Wizards,” the GM of the Wizards told ESPN’s Zach Lowe on Thursday on the “Lowe Post” podcast.
Beal is under contract with the Wizards until the end of the 2022/23 season. He is set to earn $28.7M next season and another $62M until 2023.
