NBA veteran Corey Brewer had the task of guarding the league’s stars for many years. Since entering the league in 2007, Brewer played against the likes of LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, James Harden and the list goes on.

In a recent blog post, the 34-year-old shooting guard/forward went through all the superstars he has guarded during his career and described his experience with each one of them.

When it came to the Golden Sate Warriors superstar Steph Curry, Brewer described defending him as a ‘nightmare’ due to Curry’s ability to shoot the lights out.

“Guarding Steph Curry is a nightmare. When he passes half-court, he can shoot the ball and it’s effortless. You have to guard him as soon as he passes half-court, so you have to push up. For me, having some length, I just try to get him to drive to the basket. I want to see Layup Steph Curry rather than Three-Point Steph Curry,” Brewer wrote on Basketball Network.
