The Golden State Warriors are constantly leaking new names as their prime candidates for their selection in the upcoming Draft.

However, according to Marcus Thompson of The Athletic, as transcribed by NBC Sports, the Warriors are going to play it safe by selecting one of the projected Top-3 talents in the 2020 NBA Draft.

In particular, Thompson wrote on Friday that LaMelo Ball, Georgia guard Anthony Edwards and Memphis big man James Wiseman are the three players the Warriors’ choice will come down to.

As the Warriors’ beat writer noted, Ball is considered ‘super-talented’ by a couple of people in the Bay Area franchise. In his just twelve games on the NBL league, the 19 years old guard averaged 17 points (on 37.5 percent shooting), 7.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists.
