The Miami Heat are preparing for the upcoming Draft that will take place on November 18. The 2020 NBA finalists are keen to add talent around their young core with Alabama point guard Kira Lewis Jr. being on their list, per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Lewis is a 6-3 point guard with scoring qualities as he averaged 18.8 points and 5.2 assists per contest in his second season with the Crimson shooting 36 percent on threes.

With the Heat having the 20th pick, Lewis is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2020 NBA Draft with many placing him in the 14th pick range.

It remains to be seen if the Heat will retain their pick, however if they want Lewis so badly they will need to unload other players in a trade during the draft night.

In Miami’s current contending situation, the scenario of giving up assets for a draft prospect is pretty unlikely.
