The draft is just four days away and the New York Knicks are getting closer to their final decision on what to do with the eighth pick.

According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Knicks are considering selecting Kira Lewis Jr. or Devin Vassell in the upcoming Draft.

In addition, they are also working on the possibility of working on a trade back by selecting Lewis Jr. or Vassell.

“Sources have indicated the Knicks are weighing whether either Vassell or Lewis are worthy of the eighth pick or if they should trade down a few notches to gain an asset, with the chance to still nab either of them.”

The New York franchise set a priority of drafting a scoring point-guard to match with RJ Barrett and Mitchell Robinson.

The Knicks are also interested in guard Killian Hayes, but they believe he will not be available to pick him with the eighth overall pick, per Berman.

“The Knicks’ priority in this draft is to take a scoring point guard, with southpaw sensation Killian Hayes high on their radar, but that’s not a given. Hayes may not even be there.”
