Sports analyst Clay Travis reacted to the poor NBA Finals ratings by comparing them to college football which, contrary to the NBA, saw an increase in viewership.

“SEC ratings are up. College football in the SEC has not taken a hit at all. The Alabama Georgia game outrated EVERY NBA finals game this year. Also, Game 7 of the NLCS between the Dodgers and the Braves outraded every NBA Finals game. That never happens. Ever. Mark Cuban and all of the NBA media defenders I would love to hear their argument for why that is occurring,” Travis said.

One of the main reasons behind the drop in the NBA’s viewership, according to some analysts, is the league’s decision to embrace the politics by supporting the Democratic Party.
