Barry had a solid game, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Fellow Hall of Famer Nate Thurmond finished the game with 20 point and 27 rebounds.

For the Lakers, Jerry West led the way, finishing with 36 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

Barry, meanwhile, went on to have an excellent season and won Rookie of the Year. He averaged 25.7 points and 10.6 rebounds per game in 1965-66. The following season he led the NBA in scoring, averaging 35.6 points per game.
