The Los Angeles Clippers are searching for their next head coach, after parting ways with Doc Rivers. The Clippers should find a head coach with the right balance of handling his stars and being adequate in coaching a basketball team.

According to Marc Stein, the Golden State Warriors’ assistant Mike Brown made a strong impression in his interview for the Clippers’ head coaching vacancy.

Brown, who was the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Lakers previously, has won three championships as an assistant in San Antonio and Golden State.

He led the Cleveland Cavaliers to their first NBA Finals back in 2007. He was the Los Angeles Lakers head coach for one season having collaborated with two of the best players ever, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant.

The Clippers need someone that can get the best out of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, and an emerging candidate on that front could be Brown.
