The Chinese TV will broadcast Game 5 of the NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat.
This marks the first time an NBA game will be aired live in the country in nearly one year.
There was a lot of tension between the NBA and China following a tweet sent by the GM of the Houston Rockets Daryl Morey.
Morey appeared to support the protests that were taking place in Hong Kong in October of 2019 and that created a lot of tension between China and the league.
Therefore, the Chinese TV refused to broadcast NBA games in the country and that led to a financial damage for the NBA.
