The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is currently third on the NBA All-Time scoring list. With 34,241 career points, he is third behind Karl Malone (36,928 points) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 points).

Sports analyst Nick Wright says LeBron wants to take over Abdul-Jabbar as the league’s All-Time top scorer. To do that, he needs three season. According to him, the 35-year-old superstar could play until he’s 40.

Wright also thinks another goal that James wants to achieve is winning six NBA titles. Should the Lakers win it all this year, he would be two titles away from that goal.

“We know LeBron wants Kareem’s scoring record, he needs 3 years to get that. We know he’s going to end up a Top 3 in assists, he needs a couple of year to get that. And I’d imagine he wants 6 rings. He needs a minimum of 2 years after this 1, but realistically 4 years. I think it’s all in play now. Can LeBron play until he’s 40? It’s in play,” Wright said on First Things First.
