Recently a quote was published from an insider who said that if LeBron James wins the NBA championship this season, it would cement him as the GOAT.
“These Finals aren’t about LeBron versus the Heat. These Finals are about his legacy. If he wins, it cements him as the GOAT,” said one person who’s known LeBron personally for years, via The Athletic.
Sports analyst Skip Bayless suspects that the quote came from one of two people who are very close to the Los Angeles Lakers superstar.
“I would be willing to bet a lot of money that that quote came from either Maverick Carter or Rich Paul,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED.
