The Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel shared his thoughts on his team’s loss to the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

He pointed at the Lakers not being as sharp as they need to be, especially in the first half of the game during which the Nuggets built a big lead.

“We didn’t play our best game, that’s for sure. We weren’t as sharp as we should have been, could have been. In particular to start the game and into the second quarter. Step slow to some things We weren’t as physical as we need to be. As a result we created a deficit for ourselves that was tough to overcome. We didn’t play as sharp as we need to and we had poor shooting night,” Vogel said.
