The Atlanta Hawks are hiring San Antonio’s Landry Fields as an assistant manager, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The former NBA player and current Austin Spurs general manager will become the leading assistant of the Hawks general manager, Travis Schlenk.

Fields began his front-office career as a scout for the San Antonio Spurs before becoming a GM in the G League in 2019.

The 32-year-old executive was a second-round pick for the New York Knicks in 2010, appearing in 255 career games with the Knicks and Toronto Raptors.
