Gordon Hayward will not leave the Orlando “bubble” to be close to his wife for the birth of their fourth child.

The forward of the Boston Celtics told Rachel Nichols of ESPN he plans to remain with the team for the remainder of the playoffs.

“Gordon Hayward was originally supposed to leave the Bubble for the birth of his fourth child, but since he just got a bunch of unexpected time with his family due to his injury, he told me the current plan is to stay with the Celtics for as far as they go,” Nichols reports.

Hayward returned to action in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat, posting six points, five rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes of action.

The Celtics earned the 117-106 win in Game 3 and are now down 2-1 in the series. Game 4 is on Wednesday.
